Mexico City Airport is officially called Benito Juárez International Airport. The airport is named after Benito Juárez, who was president of Mexico for 14 years in the second half of the nineteenth century.
The last few years the airport has been extensively modernized and expanded. There are two terminals, which are three kilometers apart and which are connected by a so-called people mover.
